Alpine Valleys Community Leadership Program

How to apply

Each program runs from July to the following May. Applications are sought between February and April each year from people who:

• Have the capacity for leadership
• Possess broad ranging interests
• Are self motivated
• Have the ability to commit the time and energy required to participate fully in the program
• Have confidence in the region, in its capacity to prosper and in themselves to effect change in local communities
• Possess a record of civic activity or the ability to express a genuine interest in becoming more involved in their community

Candidates need to be of sound character and display a high level of honesty and integrity and be willing to consent to a police check.

Candidates who are applying solely to enhance their careers and/or who show a lack of commitment to their community will not be considered.
