Who we are and what we do

The rationale of AVCLP is that the ability of the region to diversify and strengthen its economic and resource base and thus to compete internationally depends to a significant degree on the capacity of its leadership. The Alpine Valleys Community Leadership Program is a major investment in our region and its future. By building networks which cross not only regional, state and national boundaries, but industry boundaries as well, participants will be better equipped to lead the Alpine Valleys region in the future.

Program Objectives

The Alpine Valleys Community Leadership Program will foster the development of a vigorous network of community and business leaders by:

• Offering potential and emerging leaders an intensive annual program that explores the major challenges and opportunities within our regional community
• Providing participants from a wide range of business and community backgrounds with an opportunity to develop mutual understanding and respect in an environment that is stimulating, supportive and enjoyable
• Enabling participants to interact with and learn from today's leaders
• Enhancing participants' leadership skills and region wide networks
